Our Youth

We believe that children and young adults bring special gifts to the church. They play a very important role within Rockingham United.

Children's Involvement During Worship - Children are welcome in all of our worship services. Families are encouraged to come to worship together, and following Time with the Children, children will go downstairs for Sunday School. On the last Sunday of each month, older children participate in the service as readers, ushers and greeters.

Spark Sunday School - Sunday School is offered during the worship service for children ages 4 and up. One class is for children 4 to 10 and one for older children (over 10yrs). Our curriculum is Bible-based and encourages creative play, reasoning, and lots of fun.

RUC Youth - Our youth group members meet a couple times a month with lay leadership and Wendy Hawley. Each meeting has a different theme. Anything from baking, paint nights, movie nights, game nights, or searching for geocaches at a local park. All youth ages 10 and up are welcome!
